Following a winter of significant change, the VCARB 01 was shown for the first time at a launch party in Las Vegas. The new challenger features significant branding from title partners Visa and Cash App, with a technical concept bringing it closer to sister team Red Bull.
The VCARB 01 retains many design elements of last year's Alpha Tauri, however the team has opted to run Red Bull-designed front and rear suspension, a layout which resulted in much success for RBR. The team has high hopes to make progress this season, with new CEO Peter Bayer and team principal Laurent Mekies leading the operation.
Daniel continues to race alongside Yuki Tsunoda, with the pair aiming to improve on the eight-placed finish in last year's Formula 1 constructors' championship.
Daniel provided some further insight into the changes at Visa Cash App RB Formula 1 Team, "I feel like we're going in the right direction. And Honestly, everything I fed back to the team, I feel like they've actioned or done their best to make it work. I can't ask for too much more now. I feel like this is not a junior team anymore"
